2012-04-18 Kiwa Belgium distributes certificate to private clinic

Kiwa has developed a specific mark together with the Belgian Society for Private Clinics (www.bspc.be). The BSPC strives for only players investing in security, quality and infrastructure to be able to use the term “private clinic”. In the absence of a clear legislative framework, the patient today has no certainty on the delivered quality of services.
Besides quality and professionalism of medical personnel, the BSCP standard stresses also on safety of equipment and infrastructure, plus prevention of infections.
The BeauCare Clinic (Machelen) is the first private clinic to receive this kind of certificate. BeauCare supports the added value of this quality check: “an annual control on general operations ensures the quality for both clinic and patient”.
The BSPC project is a good example of using our expertise in the care sector to set up a powerful scheme tailored to a sector and the local law.
