Kiwa has created two labels for the auto repair industry, which confirm the reliability of the equipment and processes used by auto repair shops. These were tailor-made for the auto repair industry and are consequently aimed at the performances of auto repair firms towards the end customer.

The labels are widely recognised by insurers, and give access to the label of Federauto Recognised Auto Repair Shops.

The labels focus on 6 themes: Infrastructure - Equipment - Customer Service - Management System - Safety - Environment

Kiwa Light is the light version that assesses whether the basic equipment and process methods are present. Kiwa Pro is the advanced version which resembles ISO 9001, albeit specifically dedicated to the auto repair industry.

These labels are based on criteria that give a quantitative score, which makes it possible to translate the audit results into a quantitative benchmark, which enables every auto repair firm to compare itself with its competitors. This makes immediately clear what is in need of improvement in order to stay competitive.
